The roads here are narrow
One lane is often shared by two cars
And the turns are blinding
Yet speed is never reduced
And I rarely hear tires skid.
A head on collision seems inevitable
But it is not the fear from the tauntingly fatal roads that is making my head hurt
It's your absence from the drivers seat
and the ghost of your foot on the pedal
Because I wouldn't mind to be killed by these twisting turns of narrow pavement
As long as it is
your hands on the wheel.
